Receptionist: This position is the most important position on our team, and is responsible for scheduling the doctor appointments, boarding appointments, and all drop-offs. All aspects of the client experience are championed from this role. Answering phones with a smile, checking clients in and out, handling client communication, faxing and filing all are handled by this team. In addition, the receptionist team completes the reminders to be sent to our clients and manages the Vetstreet Pet Portal requests. This position is responsible for the end of day accounting process. It is important that receptionist have a good understanding of basic veterinary medicine to include wellness examinations, vaccinations and diet consultation. Computer skills in AVImark, data entry, and accounting are all essential tasks. Our receptionists are talented, skilled and charming people who really truly care!
Veterinary Technician: This position is the work horse of our hospital. Our technicians are talented, and they use their knowledge and skill sets every single day! We challenge our veterinary technician team to utilize their skills to efficiently care for our patients. They receive the clients who are here for exams and rechecks getting the history and information for the veterinarian. They must be knowledgeable of current vaccination and treatment protocols. This position is also heavily involved in patient diagnostic work-ups and treatments including ultrasound guided cystocentesis, blood collection, catheter placement, radiography, dentistry, and ICU hospitalization. This is a very client and patient focused role and requires a person who likes people as well as pets!
Kennel Tech Assistant: This position is essential to our team! Our Kennel Tech Assistants have been a part of our team for years and have a tremendous work ethic and care for the animals. They are here early, and often stay late taking care of the animals and assisting the technicians. They must be confident with their restraint of animals while having a gentle hand and voice as well. Good customer service skills is a must because our Kennel Tech Assistants are often interacting directly with our clients.
